First Light on Emerald Bay

This Studio painting was created from a  6 x 8 study painted "en Plein Air" early on a summer morning.  The light that hit  Fanette Island inspired me as it shimmered across the lake and lite up the tea house.  The shadow behind the island created a special drama and quietness.
