My collector saw a painting on my website called "Night on the Town". She asked if that was a local restaurant in Truckee, my home town. It was not, so she asked if I could paint one smilier but use Truckee landmarks. The task was taken on with great pleasure. First I went one night to take some nocturne photos of the site. Then I painted a study and once that was accomplished I proceeded to paint the larger format. She was very pleased when she saw the painting. The color story fit well into her interior and she gets much pleasure from the painting.
