Summer Nights and Moody Lights

Inspired by a commission where the collector wanted to take home a remembrance of a fun evening on the town in Truckee.  I went  out on a summer night to capture photos of tourists and locals all enjoying the summer warm night air.  I was mesmerized by the nights glow from all the lights in and out of the cafes along the main drag.  It is with this inspiration that I painted this scene.
